No blog about fictional heroes is complete without this tune! ;)
...I'm kidding. Sort of.
NOTE : Not all of these guys are going to necessarily be the "good guys." These are simply my favorite/the most INTERESTING anime guys in my personal opinion. I may love them or I may hate them, but if their character is well-developed and intriguing, they've got a good chance of being on this list.

My Top Anime Guys :
The best, brightest, and baddest boys of anime. ^^
Note : I am purposely limiting myself to a maximum of 2 characters from the same anime. That way, there is more variety. It this wasn't the case, the list would be completely dominated by the same two or three anime shows.

1. Edward Elric - Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood

This one does seem to be obvious. Edward's one of the most popular anime characters of our time, if not one of the most popular characters in general. What is it about Edward that is so likable? He'll go to any length to protect those he loves and sacrifice anything if it means saving a loved one. He's rough around the edges, but in the best way possible. He's one of the strongest characters that I've ever come across, not just in anime but in any story. The things this boy endures would make most other fictional heroes' hair curl. Edward is one of the top-rated characters in anime.
"Birthplace Resembool, Amestris
Date of Birth: 1899
Age: 15-16 (series), 18 (end of series)
Family: Alphonse Elric (brother)
Trisha Elric (mother, deceased)
Van Hohenheim (father)
Affiliations: State Military
Pinako Rockbell
Izumi Curtis (teacher)
Roy Mustang (Commander)
Species: Human
Occupation: State Alchemist
Abilities: Alchemy, Martial Arts
Weapon: Alchemy, Automail arm
Edward "Fullmetal Alchemist" Elric is a young alchemical prodigy. He is the youngest State Alchemist ever to be recognized by the Amestris State Military, having received the title at the age of 12. Ed's primary motivation throughout the series is to return his younger brother, Alphonse, to his original body, which was lost in a failed human transmutation. Edward, despite his occasional bouts of immaturity, is a selfless boy who gains a reputation as a "hero of the people" throughout his youth. Notably, he doesn't seem concerned about returning his own arm and leg, instead focusing entirely on Al's suffering.
Edward is small for his age, standing at only 149 cm (4'11"), however his body is that of an experienced martial artist, with noticeable muscles and a wealth of agility. Although he lacks both his right arm and left leg, Ed's ability to fight is not impaired, and is in fact improved, as he will often use alchemy to cause his metal arm to partly transform into a blade or shield. His heavy automail limbs are considered by him to be the very best in Amestris. They were made by his childhood friend, Winry Rockbell, and she is constantly working on them. He is able to think quickly, even in desperate situations, though can still be frightened into paralysis. These qualities, combined with his alchemical powers and physical strength, make him a formidable fighter. [At the end of the series, he is also noticeably taller at about 5'5" as well as becoming more muscular].
Born to Trisha Elric and Van Hohenheim of Resembool in the winter of 1899, Edward's first few years were relatively happy; but after the sudden departure of his father during the lad's formative years, Ed was left with his mother and younger brother Alphonse as his only family. The three Elrics lived in peace in the rural village and the boys began displaying a remarkable talent for alchemy at a young age, much to the joyful astonishment of his mother. However, early in the year 1904, Trisha contracted an illness that had been spreading in the area and died, leaving her two sons orphaned. Even while mourning, mired in grief, Edward vowed to his brother that the two of them would find a way to bring their dear mother back to life with the power of alchemy.
Edward and Alphonse spent the next few years living on their own in the Elric family home, supported by their close childhood friend Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako, and pursuing the alchemical knowledge necessary for their planned resurrection. Although they had gained a great deal of information and comprehension regarding the extended basics of the craft, before long it became apparent to the young prodigies that there was only so far they could go while being self-taught. In a stroke of good fortune, Resembool was visited by an exceptionally skilled alchemist named Izumi Curtis who, after some persuasion, agreed to take the Elric brothers on as her apprentices provided they pass a preliminary test. After they do, the Elric brothers were subjected to Izumi's intensive alchemy and martial arts training, growing significantly in both mind and body and gaining a great deal of alchemical knowledge before returning to Resembool.
Though instructed specifically by Izumi to understand that death is an irreversible part of the flow of the world and that acceptance of such is important to the "One is All, All is One" concept, the boys dove headlong into their plan to resurrect their mother upon their homecoming, having advanced their knowledge while abroad and discovered the basics to a forbidden practice called Human Transmutation.
Devising a Human Transmutation Circle, amassing the elemental ingredients for an adult human body and offering their own blood as soul and biological data, the boys secretly initiated the Human Transmutation in their home. Unfortunately, the Human Transmutation resulted in a Rebound.
Alphonse and Edward were pulled into The Gate. Encountering the mysterious being called Truth, Edward was stripped of his left leg in exchange for crossing into God's domain and peeking at the Gate's vast wealth of alchemical knowledge. Maimed and bleeding, Edward was returned to the human dimension to find that Alphonse had not yet returned from his disappearance into the Gate, that the mother they had attempted to revive was a grotesque mass of organs only capable of sustaining life for a few moments and that his own sojourn into the Gate had granted him the curious ability to perform transmutations merely by clapping his hands together, without the aid of a Transmutation Circle - in the same style used by Izumi. Desperate to at least have his brother by his side, Edward willfully performed another Human Transmutation to call him back, this time sacrificing his right arm in exchange for Al's soul, which he bound alchemically to an antique suit of armor with a Blood Rune before passing out from severe blood loss. Alphonse carried Ed to the Rockbell house, where a shocked Pinako and Winry performed emergency surgery to save the young boy's life.
On the night of the failed transmutation. Lt. Colonel Flame alchemist Roy mustang came to the Rockbell's in response to a letter that Edward and Alphonse had sent him in the mail asking about their Father. He was shocked at the fact that the two boys had tried human alchemy and survived, and informed them that they could become state alchemist and maybe one day find a way to return their bodies to the way they were. Desperate to get His younger brother's body back, Edward asked the Rockbells to give him prosthetic limbs called automail. Though they warned him the surgery would be painful, he said the pain was nothing compared to what his brother had given up. He only took a year to adapt to the automail at age 11 when it took most adults 3 years." (myanimelist.com)

2. Avatar Aang

Sure, he's young, but he's probably one of the most well-developed characters I've ever seen. There is a lot of debate over whether or not Avatar: the Last Airbender is an anime because it's American, but for me, it's close enough.
The reason I like Aang is that he's one of the (painfully!) few incorruptible characters in existence. This kid lost his entire civilization - his entire race was wiped out by a people that he once lived in peace with. Yet, he STILL maintains the ability to see the good in individuals and even all nations as a whole. He would be tied with Edward Elric at number one, but to keep this list more organized, I'm trying to avoid ties. Here's a little info about Aang :
age : 12 (112) - (113) 13
"Aang was born to two unnamed Air Nomads in 12 BSC who gave him to the monks of the Southern Air Temple.[9] As an Air Nomad, Aang traveled extensively around the world.[10][11] During his childhood, Aang was housed, raised, and educated at his home, the Southern Air Temple, under the custody of Monk Gyatso, who served as a father figure, guardian, counselor, and teacher for Aang.[3] As a child, Aang was a member of the Air Scouts, where he learned essential skills such as how to tie reins to a bison's horns with the bison horn knot.[12] When Aang turned six years old, he and several other young Air Nomad boys were taken to the Eastern Air Temple where they each chose a sky bison as their lifelong companion. Aang approached his soon-to-be pet sky bison Appa and offered him an apple, which Appa accepted, thus marking the start of their long, deep friendship.[13] Aang had always been able to excel with any new bending moves he learned; at the age of six, he was a better airbender than children twice his age, and by the age of ten, Aang had proven himself to be better than his own teachers.[14]
While still a young boy, Aang had unknowingly revealed himself to be the Avatar when he chose the four Avatar relics out of thousands of various toys.[15] In his childhood, Aang also visited the other air temples, as evidenced by his obvious familiarity with the Western Air Temple,[16] as well as cities in the then-peaceful Earth Kingdom, such as Omashu, where he developed a lasting friendship with the good-natured but eccentric Bumi.[10] He even bonded closely with children in the Fire Nation, like Kuzon, with whom they went searching for a dragon in the mountains and saved the mother's egg from poachers.[17] Due to the signs of a possible war approaching, Aang was told about his status as the Avatar at age twelve, four years earlier than the traditional age of sixteen and after exhibiting prodigious talent with his native element, air, earning airbending tattoos and the status of an airbending master. Aang felt burdened by his status and came to spend more time practicing airbending with the monks rather than playing with his friends as he was used to. Monk Gyatso was the only one to show understanding to Aang's burden, having been good friends with Avatar Roku, Aang's past life,[9] and tried to help ease Aang through the transition from childhood to adulthood by providing Aang with balance through fun during the upheaval in his life.[15]
However, soon after learning that he would be sent to the Eastern Air Temple in order to complete his airbending training far away from Monk Gyatso, who other monks thought was too soft on him, Aang attempted to run away on his flying bison Appa. Shortly after running away, Aang and Appa were caught in a storm, crashing in the water and being swallowed by the waves. Aang saved himself and Appa while semi-consciously entering the Avatar State, freezing the two in a sphere of ice by using a combination of airbending and waterbending.[15] The Avatar State kept him alive, albeit not fully conscious, in the iceberg for about a hundred years while the war raged on.
One hundred years later, Aang was found and freed from the iceberg by siblings Katara and Sokka of the Southern Water Tribe.[7] He quickly befriended them and almost immediately attracted the attention of PrinceZuko, who was to capture him by order of his father, Fire Lord Ozai.[18] The three set out to find a waterbending master who could teach Katara and Aang, evading Zuko's attempts to capture them along the way.[19] While helping Senlin Village get rid of Hei Bai, a spirit that was destroying their village, Aang crossed over to the Spirit World where he met Fang, the animal guide of his predecessor, Avatar Roku. He was instructed to visit an Avatar temple on Crescent Island during the winter solstice so that he could talk with Avatar Roku.[20] Despite a run-in with most of the Fire Sages, a group now loyal to the Fire Lord, Aang managed to speak with Roku, who warned him about the impending arrival of Sozin's Comet, which would grant the Fire Nation enough power to win the War.[21]
Roku urged Aang to master the three remaining elements before summer's end, when the comet was due to arrive, or no one would ever be able to restore balance to the world.[21] Aang was later captured by Admiral Zhao and Zuko came to his aid under the identity of the Blue Spirit, freeing the former so that he could capture the Avatar himself.[11] Upon the group's arrival at the Northern Water Tribe, Aang was displeased to learn that his teacher, Master Pakku, will not teach Katara, due to the tradition of not teaching females to use their waterbending to fight. Instead, Katara learned how to heal injuries using water. However, she was able to change Pakku's mind, and they both began to learn under him.[22] The period of calm was brief, as Zhao[11] commanded an attack on the Northern Water Tribe with a large fleet of ships.[22] Aang found the situation overwhelming and decided to seek guidance in the Ocean and Moon spirits, patrons of the Northern Water Tribe.[23] Aang learned through a spirit named Koh that the spirits were in the mortal world, but his body was taken by Zuko in the process while he was in the Avatar State. Aang's friends managed to rescue him, but not before Zhao arrived at the Spirit Oasis, the lair of the spirits, and killed the Moon Spirit, who was the source of power for all waterbending. Determined not to fail the Water Tribe, Aang merged with the Ocean Spirit and proceeded to wipe out all Fire Nation ships, winning the battle.[2
Aang and the others were left near an Earth Kingdom base, from where they were to be escorted to Omashu, to be taught earthbending by one of his living peers, King Bumi. Due to a misunderstanding with the general responsible for the base, who wanted to forcibly draw the Avatar State, the group decided to go to Omashu by themselves.[25] Upon arrival they learned that the city had fallen under Fire Nation control.[26] They tried to rescue Bumi by trading him for the new governor's son, who accidentally left the city by following Momo. However, Zuko's younger sister Azula interfered saying the Fire Nation would be trading a powerful, earthbending king for a two-year-old. At that, Aang fought Azula, who also decided to capture him. Bumi told Aang that he needed to remain in Omashu and instructed the young Avatar to search for an earthbending master who waited and listened to the Earth before attacking.[27] While lost in theFoggy Swamp, Aang had a vision about a laughing girl and a flying boar.[28] Upon reaching the city of Gaoling, they were handed a flyer with a coupon for one free lesson at Master Yu's Earthbending Academy. After attending the lesson, Aang learned about a tournament that housed the best earthbenders in the world. The threesome set out to search for a supposed underground earthbending tournament, hoping to find a good teacher. After watching many rounds, they witnessed the final fight between one of the popular contestants and the current champion, a little blind girl. During her match, Aang noticed that the girl's laugh matched the one he had heard in his vision and her technique of waiting and listening before attacking, thus easily defeating her opponent. The ringmaster offered a sack of gold pieces to anyone who dared to face the "Blind Bandit". Aang accepted that challenge in order to talk to the girl, but she ignored him.[29]
The group later learned that the girl belonged to the Beifong family, whose symbol was a flying boar. They went to the estate and Aang introduced himself as the Avatar. He learned, however, that Toph, the earthbender, hid her ability from her family. After the two were kidnapped, Toph managed to fight all the attackers off and joined Aang's group, though against her parents' wishes.[29] As earth is the opposite element to air, Aang went through some difficulties while learning earthbending but eventually got it.[30] On their way to Ba Sing Se, the group found Wan Shi Tong's library in the middle of the Si Wong Desert and learned valuable information on a solar eclipse that would leave the firebenders powerless. While sorting through the library's information, they lost Appa, who was taken bydesert people[31] and sold.[13] An enraged Aang crossed over into the Avatar State after learning that the sandbenders muzzled his oldest companion.[32] After finding their way out of the desert and crossing the Serpent's Pass, the group came across a giant Fire Nation drill which was trying to penetrate the Great Wall of Ba Sing Se.[33] General Sung was reluctant at first to accept the group's help, but after witnessing the quick defeat of hisTerra Team at the hands of Ty Lee and Mai, he gladly accepted the Avatar's assistance. In a joint effort, the group managed to fight them off and destroy the drill.[34]
Finally reaching Ba Sing Se, Aang discovered that the city was not like he thought; true power did not lie with theEarth King, but with his adviser, Long Feng, who controlled the secret police, the Dai Li.[35] They figured out where Long Feng had his secret base and infiltrated it, believing that he held Appa captive. After reuniting with Appa,[36]they stormed the palace and managed to tell the Earth King about the solar eclipse and Long Feng's betrayal. After they convinced the Earth King, Kuei, his men searched Long Feng's office and thus finding a message for Aang from Guru Pathik, who had tied it to Appa's horn.[13] The message was for Aang to meet Guru Pathik at the Eastern Air Temple so he could teach Aang how to control the Avatar State.[37] While there, Pathik helped Aang open all hischakras but one, the Thought Chakra. Aang struggled with this one when he learned he had to let go of his feelings for Katara. He told the Guru that he would try, but during his attempt, he had a vision about her being in danger and immediately returned to the city, blocking his chakra.[23] On the way back, he picked up Sokka and Toph and together they learned that Azula and her friends had infiltrated the city. After Aang freed Katara, they both fought Zuko and Azula in the Crystal Catacombs. Things took a turn for the worse when the Dai Li, now under Azula's command, arrived. Aang retreated and tried to use the Avatar State but was struck down in the back by lightningfrom Azula. The very powerful lightning bolt shot through his body, exiting through his left foot, making his seventh chakra impossible to re-open. The lightning bolt killed him while he was in the Avatar State, severing the connection of the Avatar Spirit to the Avatar World and causing the Avatar to fall from the plane of existence. Katara caught Aang while he plummeted to the ground. A surprising intervention of Iroh allowed her to bring Aang's body to safety. Aang's lifeless body lay on Appa's back, where Katara used water from the Spirit Oasis in the North Pole to claim back his life, which revived the Avatar Spirit in turn, but his ability to use the Avatar State became blocked and inaccessible to him.[38]
For several weeks, Aang was unconscious as he recovered from his injury. Mentally, he spent this time in the Spirit World, where he reconnected with his four previous selves to heal the Avatar Spirit.[39] However, upon his awakening, Aang had no memory of his long journey through the Spirit World and his meetings with his former lives.[40] Aang woke up to find himself aboard a Fire Nation vessel with hair, believing that he had been captured, but in actuality, Team Avatar and others had stolen and commandeered the ship, and were on their way to the Fire Nation. Upon realizing that he had fallen at Ba Sing Se and thus failed. Team Avatar then reached the Fire Nation and prepared for the invasion, planned during the Day of Black Sun, the day the firebenders of the Fire Nation were at their weakest.[41] In the meantime, he was threatened by Combustion Man, an assassin Zuko sent after him.[42][43][44] On the day of the eclipse, Aang, Sokka, and Toph went looking for Fire Lord Ozai, but Azula distracted them long enough for the eclipse to end. They decided to retreat to fight another day.[45]
Afterward, Team Avatar and a few others went to the Western Air Temple, where Zuko appeared and wanted to join their group. Initially they rejected him, but when he helped them defeat Combustion Man, Aang accepted Zuko as his firebending teacher.[16] When Zuko lost touch with his inner fire, Zuko and Aang sought out the Sun Warriors to learn the original source of firebending and underwent a trial from the dragons Ran and Shaw that increased both firebenders' abilities.[46]
Due to his Air Nomad belief in the sacredness of all life, Aang felt strong anxiety about the concept of killing Ozai.[47] When he left for an island off the shore of Ember Island, he met the lion turtle who taught him about energybending.[5] Armed with this knowledge, Aang went on to defeat the Fire Lord by taking away his firebending with this ability. He vowed at Fire Lord Zuko's coronation to help him restore peace to the world. After Zuko's coronation, Aang is seen in Ba Sing Se with his friends, where he and Katara began a romantic relationship with a passionate kiss.[8]"

3. Also from FMA:B, Colonel Roy Mustang

Also known as "Colonel Mustbang" by girls and women all over the internet, Roy is the Flame Alchemist. I'm not sure why the paragraph below is highlighted in black...
age : 29-30
"Roy Mustang is the very picture of an attractive, sophisticated man in the prime of life. With his dark, piercing eyes and clean-shaven, baby-faced visage, the infamous colonel attracts a great deal of attention from admirers. Roy's dark hair - perhaps in keeping with his persona - is worn casually unkempt, falling over his eyes; in more formal or somber situations, however, he is known to wear it neatly slicked back.
A great fan of classy attire, Mustang is rarely seen out of uniform (and even while in uniform will often don other impressive accoutrements, such as a long, black overcoat and white formal-wear gloves), but when dressed in civilian clothes, he appears rather partial to the three-piece suit and black tie (frequently coupled with classic scarves, polished dress shoes and the aforementioned overcoat and gloves). It may be interesting to note that Roy tends toward dark or neutral colors in his dress, such as dark blue, brown and black tempered with minimal white.
On the surface, Roy seems to be a shallow and self-absorbed man, infamous among many of his colleagues and subordinates alike for the selfish and narcissistic aura he gives off. Easily as arrogant as his young protégé Edward, Colonel Mustang is wont to act in an ostentatious manner and appears to act mostly out of self-interest rather than any sort of philanthropy. He comes off to most as a sort of cocky layabout, shirking most of his duties and delegating his paperwork to subordinates while sitting idly at his desk with an amused smile on his face as he procrastinates, but quick to take action when it appears that there is glory and military notoriety to be gained. Roy is expertly manipulative and prone to think several steps ahead of those around him, giving him a remarkable talent for making subordinates act exactly as he wishes despite appearing not to have had a hand in their decisions - all traits which make the fact that he has managed to attain the lofty rank of colonel at such a young age a matter of public gossip.Roy also has the reputation of being an incorrigible womanizer, and it's said he spends much of his time cavorting about town with various women and wooing several of the servicewomen with his abundant charm, good looks and charisma. This adds another facet to his unpopularity among the enlisted men, many of whom have had their sweethearts and crushes romanced away from them by his hand. [The women are said to be informants; his foster mother is Madam Christmas].
However, while these traits do have a place in his real personality, much of his outward persona can perhaps be considered an intentional façade perfectly designed to cause those unfamiliar with him to underestimate his remarkable intelligence and ability. Mustang is an exceptional tactician, well-versed in various strains of combat theory and particularly talented in the realms of surreptitious information-gathering, covert operations and enemy ensnarement.
At the core, he is a remarkably devoted commander whose primary focus and personal duty is to his friends and subordinates. Though he hides it well behind a veil of cynicism and self-importance, Roy Mustang is a man who cares deeply about the people who trust and support him and goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being, even at the risk of his own. As a man with considerable power, Mustang considers himself a protector to those without and acts accordingly, earning the staunch loyalty of his most trusted compatriots. Though a hero of the Ishval War, he remains haunted by the horrors of war and suffers great remorse for the lives he took.
Roy Mustang is the "Flame Alchemist", having absolute control over heat and fire through alchemy. Using special gloves that create a spark when he snaps his fingers, Roy can create anything from a tiny ember to burn a letter, to a raging inferno that can destroy a humanoid body in seconds. His precise control over the alchemically enhanced flame is so accurate that he can boil the water in a persons' eyes and can also attack enemies amongst a riot without hurting any allies.
Unfortunately, his self-imposed position as protector has caused him to display a penchant toward stubbornness in regards to his pride on the field and a fiery temper, both of which have been shown to cloud his judgment in certain situations." [from the wiki page]
[Also, a brief note that Royai - the shipname for Roy and Riza Hawkeye, has been confirmed as canon by the author].
Mustang is a complex character who seems to have even more layers to him that what is revealed. Much of his personal life remains a mystery, with the exception of a recent confirmation by the author that his relationship with Riza Hawkeye is canon. Also, we get to see a glimpse into his friendships with Hughes and Havoc.
Roy Mustang is voiced by Travis Willingham in the English dub.

4. Kyoya Ootori - Ouran High School Host Club

I put a lot of thought into this, and for me, Kyoya secures the number three spot.
He's not perfect. On paper, he is more than perfect, but of course that is not the case. He's realistic. He's complex. He's certainly not the best, most golden-hearted guy of the Host Club - that title definitely goes to Tamaki Suou. Unlike the previously mentioned characters, he isn't a fighter. Any combat Kyoya engages in is intellectual, and he dominates everyone in that category. He can be very cold and aloof, but tends to counter those actions by unexpected acts of kindness that he tries to hide. I was slightly hesitant to put a character from OHSHC this high on the list because I felt that it would create a slightly fangirl-esque atmosphere to this page. I'll admit that I am a fangirl, but I'm not the extreme kind. I just love a good story with dynamic characters. I'm not going to lie though. If he were real...well, let's just say he's my type. I'm not sure if that's good or bad...I guess it's good (right?!). I think it is. A good thing, I mean. I absolutely love Kyoya. I also consider Mori my type yet I normally don't at all go for the whole "cool" or "wild" thing. Kyoya turns my brain to goo just like Spock does (my live-action fictional crush). I am apparently attracted to extreme intelligence. I feel like I shouldn't like Kyoya, but I do. I can't help it.
I really wanted to choose only one Ouran boy, and it was a difficult decision. I adore all of the characters, but my most consistent favorites throughout the series were Kyoya and Mori. It was a tough decision, but I felt like I still knew Kyoya more than I knew Mori by the end of the series. (Yes, I am referring to the anime series rather than the manga). This boy is the epitome of cool. I hate to use such a simple word because he is such a complex character, but it's true. Despite his flaws, he conducts himself with class, even when he is publicly humiliated. He's brilliant and calculating, a bit cold at times, but beneath it all exists a good person and friend. His intelligence keeps him a step ahead of everyone else and he generally uses his brilliance for good. I admit, though, I feel like he's probably the least innocent (use your imagination with that one, because whatever you can think of is probably on my list of things of which Kyo-senpai is guilty) of the Host Club, but I guess I can't confirm that. Also, even though Tamaki is supposedly a ladies' man, I have this strange feeling that outside of entertaining Host Club guests at school he's pretty innocent as far as that's concerned. It's obvious that he's naive since it took him an entire season to figure out he was in love with Haruhi. I have a feeling that Kyoya is very different however. (Eh-hem Beach episode). Aaaaanyway, that really has nothing to do with why he's on this list. Here's a description of Kyoya from myanimelist.com:
"Kyouya Ootori, a second year student at Ouran Gakuen, is the sly and calculating vice-president of the Host Club founded by his best friend and polar opposite, Tamaki Suoh. Despite Tamaki being president, Kyouya truly runs the club and plays the role of a puppet-master behind the scenes, earning him the nickname “Shadow King”. He takes care of the Host Club’s expenses and will even sell items belonging to the host club members (such as Haruhi’s pencil) for profit. In his words, “use whatever is at hand, be it friend or foe.” Almost everything he does is for his own benefit, but he can occasionally display a selfless side. He is the third son of his very wealthy and influential family; thus, if he wants to take over his family's business, he must work extremely hard to meet his strict father’s high expectations. Also, Kyouya's bad temper when waking up in the morning has earned him the name “Low-Blood Pressure Evil Lord.""
He is also known as a kind of "Shadow King" in the series.
As the series continues, we start to see inside Kyoya's personal life and understand what has made him the person he is. I feel that his friendship with Tamaki really helps to define his character. A sweet, selfless boy like Tamaki who has endured more hardship than we initially realize seems to bring out the best in Kyoya. I mean, let's face it. Tamaki's kind of perfect. His collected, calm, and forward-thinking demeanor balances Tamaki's crazy impulses and reactions. Kyoya is a genius in financing and handles the accounting for the Host Club. Somehow, he manages to keep it all under control. His complex relationship with his family, too, proves just how strong of a person he really is.
He just...he handles things with so much class (the whole Host Club does) and he's kind of a misunderstood doll. I just love him.
Kyoya is voiced by J. Michael Tatum in the English dub, whose voice I could put on loop on my iPod and be perfectly happy. #no seriously the voice is melting
